“A Importância do Café”
On this day, the students (or at least some of them) had their first contact with a professional coffee machine. This time, their teacher of English contacted a specialist in this area, Manuel Brandão Soares, to teach them all there is to know about coffee and the Coffee Production Process, from cultivation, roasting, brewing and presentation. The students performed their role as waitresses very competently, as you can see:

“Noções de Microbiologia e Boas Práticas no sector da Restauração”
This workshop was presented by an agro-food engineer, Raquel Fernandes, and the students had the chance to learn some important Food Hygiene and Personal Hygiene Methods.
This year a new CEF was created in our school – Empregado de Mesa (Waiter/Waitress). There are 8 girls in this special class and all of them motivated to learn the job skills:

The English classes are divided into two different parts: Sociocultural and Technical English.
In the first part we are studying Professional Life, while in the second we are discussing several aspects related to Table Service. Some activities have already been developed in the English class, aiming at providing the students with the best qualifications possible.
Here you have two different sessions, both well succeeded and much to the liking of the students.
